Current Opportunities

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Client Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough, neuroaffirming assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs, strengths, and challenges. Collaborate with clients to develop recovery plans that reflect their NDIS goals, while continuously monitoring and adjusting these plans as necessary.

  • Psychosocial Support and Coaching: Provide empathetic, non-judgmental support using neurodivergent-affirming coaching techniques. Help clients build resilience, coping mechanisms, and confidence in managing mental health within a system that can often feel alienating.

  • Coordination and Resource Referral: Coordinate with external service providers, healthcare professionals, and community resources to ensure a holistic, neurodivergent-friendly approach to support. Assist clients in accessing essential services such as housing, employment, and social services.

  • Skill Building and Coaching: Facilitate individual coaching sessions focused on enhancing clients' life skills, autonomy, and self-advocacy, empowering them to thrive within and beyond their NDIS plan.

  • Advocacy and Empowerment: Advocate for neurodivergent clients' rights and needs within various systems, empowering them to take control of their own recovery and navigate societal barriers.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date client records, progress notes, and reports, with a focus on supporting neurodivergent humans and their unique experiences.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who actively practices self-care and wellness and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Excellent timekeeping and administrative skills: The ability to manage your workload effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure that all documentation is thorough and timely.

  • Highly developed communication and writing skills: You will communicate clearly, concisely, and compassionately with clients and other professionals.

  • Strong professional boundaries: You excel at setting and maintaining healthy boundaries with clients while providing high-quality support.

  • Exceptional organizational skills: You are efficient in managing multiple priorities, keeping detailed records, and maintaining clear workflows.

  • General IT proficiency: You are confident in using technology to manage files, communication, and reports effectively.

  • Commitment to wellness: You actively practice professional and personal wellness and self-care to maintain your well-being while supporting others.

We highly encourage neurodivergent and disabled humans to apply. We believe lived experience enhances our ability to provide truly affirming support.

Your approach will be affirming, client-centered, and strengths-based, ensuring that the humans you support have the tools they need to achieve their goals and feel empowered along the way.

We’re not a (neuro)typical workplace

We’re not a (neuro)typical disability service provider, and we aren’t aiming to be. What sets us apart from the crowd, is our lived experience - every member of our team is neurodivergent and we do our best to make our workplace, and our services neuroaffirming.

We believe firmly in creating opportunities for our community and being the national leader in creating employment for humans with Autism and ADHD.

How do we create a neuroaffirming workplace?

Being that we’re 100% owned and crewed by neurodiverse humans, our services are 100% virtual, which means:

  • Participant meetings are facilitated by video conference on Zoom, with all our work being virtually facilitated

  • We work from home, which gives you the freedom to curate your workspace to your sensory needs

  • Flexible hours so you can appropriately tend to your personal needs (because we all have chronic health conditions and are neurodivergent)

  • We take a collaborative approach to our work, with weekly team meetings and body-doubling with coworkers (and the occasional presence of our needy fur babies)

  • We’re a very supportive team, here to help you thrive in your role by working with your needs, and not against them

  • We are constantly learning, expanding our knowledge, and engaging in professional development
