Our Values
We value respect, lived experience, curiosity, collaboration, and integrity. We are equally committed to creating opportunities for our community and being part of changing the status quo for neurodivergent humans nationwide, and globally.
These values are intricately interwoven through how we practice with participants and operate internally. After all, it’d be kinda weird if we only practiced those values when working directly with clients and participants - and not internally as a team.
Our Ambitions
We might be a small outfit right now, but we have big, bold ambitions for our community and company.
We want to be the best
We’re striving to become Australia’s leading employer of accessible employment for people in the neurodivergent community, by ensuring our services are embedded with neuroaffirming practices for our staff as well as our clients.
Changing the game
We are here to disrupt and help rewrite the narrative of what it means to be neurodiverse in Australia. We steer our services to support parts of our community that are forgotten, or left behind. This is why we work primarily with neurodiverse adults who are routinely without age-appropriate support.
Neuroaffirming Practice Behind-the-Scenes…
It would be pretty weird if we only engaged in neuroaffirming practice when we’re in client appointments, wouldn’t it? Here’s how we do things behind the scenes to look after our own neurodiverse needs so we can keep looking after our community:
We have dedicated team meetings weekly
We share information, ideas, solutions, and resources - no gatekeeping!
Each staff member sets their own appointment availability based on their specific needs
We co-work together, virtually (because body doubling is an epic hack for ADHD!)
We regularly engage in professional development, by attending webinars, conferences on neurodivergence
We experiment with different methods of working, because our needs change and shift
